Description
French Fries of Past and Present is a series of multiples exploring the physical properties of copper through a process mimicking aesthetics of adaptation and mutation.
The resulting sculptures capture the branching and organic deformations of the otherwise inanimate metal, evoking an illusion of growth and expansion. The work continues the artist's interest in human and non-human agents, prompting viewers to reflect on the relationship between the individual and the environment.
